People accuse me of being color blind. The truth is I will hunt red ones, blue ones, black and white ones, yellow ones, black and tan ones, or even brindle ones; Just as long as they are English!
I see a lot of guys heading to hunt the White River Refuge, what is the draw that so many coonhunters go there to hunt?

Corey, to me it’s the big wide open river bottom hardwoods.
I have been to places with more coon, I have never been anywhere that awe struck me more than the White River.
It is like God planted giant hardwood and Cypress trees just for tree dog enthusiasts to enjoy.
No houses just wide open country.
The only way to understand it is to go.
I relish every year down there.
Just got back from there.
Treed a pile of coons and had a blast as always. We take a big group of hunters every year and the trip and the stories get better with every trip down
