Houndsmen
I have coonhunted for years, and I understand the time that goes into that. But I was wondering, for those of you that cat and bear hunt, especially out west, how much time would you say that you put into your hounds? How many days do you spend running, training and hunting your hounds a year to maintain a good pack of hounds. And is it difficult to break a hound to bear and cat hunt? I was just wondering how it was in comparison to coonhunting. Thanks!

Do some searching here Nance bred you won't have any breaking to do. Saw a 3 yr old run 18 and tree 11 in a 2 month season no pack needed.

Wow, that’s impressive for Sure!!! I have down some research into the Nance bred hounds, and have heard a lot of good things about them.
