Our RPOA lobbyist Former House Speaker Gibson Lewis just called and told us
that Governor Greg Abbott VETOED SB 474, the "animal rights" inspired bill
that outlawed EVERY outdoor dog house in Texas. We'll have the governor's
comments and more later.

After six years, radical "Animal Rights" organizations (in Texas and
nationwide) finally succeeded in getting SB 474 passed this past session
regarding "unattended outdoor dogs shelter and restraint" in the state of
Texas. We killed this bill every session until now when it barely squeaked
through at the last minute.
"We" are the experts in animal care, behavior and training animals -- not
the radical "animal rights" organizations. Our appreciation to our great
governor of Texas: Governor Greg Abbott, the Pro-Texas Pets governor!
