Anyone notice diesel price? That’s not goin to help! N gas is still up there too! What will happen when reserves are depleted?

Diesel is a free bi-product from making gasoline at that.

Back in the mid 1960’s my dad farmed and farm gas was low in the low 20 cents per gallon and diesel was less than 10 cents a gallon…

Also, in the early 70’s when the so called gas shortage (that wasn’t) the gas shot up and speed limit was dropped to 55 mph to conserve fuel, and miraculously the gas became abundant again and prices dropped some but no where close to it’s original price…and everyone was so happy the price dropped…oil producers and oil refineries were laughing all the way to the bank…🧐😳

Then unleaded gas hit the pump and it was about 5 cents a gallon cheaper than regular leaded gas and everyone thought it was because it was cheaper to make…of course that changed when the majority of automobiles transitioned to unleaded fuel…and the price went higher than leaded regular gas prices…it’s about supply and demand as I learned later in life…
