I have been out of hunting for the last 10 to 12 years due to a divorce I see a lot of dogs with viroid on their ads what is the deal with all of the dogs in the thyroid problem

I’ve always fed purina puppy chow and dog chow. I’ve never heard of this problem until now. I think I’ll stay with what I have. Thanks
