Need Help Dog Health
I’ve got a 12 month old female that out of the blue yesterday (had hunted 2 nights prior but not the night before) started packing a back leg, I looked her over good thought maybe just a sore foot but didn’t know, today I noticed her packing the other leg she swaps putting weight back and forth, slow/stiff coming out of the dog house but once she gets out and moves around a little she seems normal can put weight on both back legs if she jumps up on the gate, but then goes back to pacing the pen swapping weight on each leg. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

This is just my suggestion, hunt her hard until the situation gets better or worse then you can tell what you are dealing with.
Most likely something in one of her feet or between her toes. If there is it will fester up. She's shifting her weight for comfort reasons. There is a possibility of a pulled muscle or ligament but typically when they do this it's a foreign body somewhere in the foot.

She is over it now, I wound up taking her to the vet because she got to the point of barley coming out of the dog house and not wanting to walk at all, they didn’t really know what was wrong, the night before I took her I called a friend that had hunted with me 2 nights before my dog took sick, they chewed on the same coon and his dog also went temporarily lame, I told the vet this then she comes back and tells me it’s likely coonhound paralysis, I don’t remember ever hearing of this but is this something any of you have encountered?

Friend of mine had a black and tan that got it bad he was laid up for a long time couldn't walk at all but eventually came out of it.
In my experience, the symptoms you described are often consistent with Lyme disease. If they didn’t check her for it, I would do it. Early detection and treatment is key. Keep us posted either way .
