4yr Old NT Ch with 3 wins $880 won PKC

Bought him recently. Can flat tree coons and a loner, cock the rifle when he trees. Not mean, not trashy. Moody and seems to be closer style hunting dog. Him and I can't get along.

Maybe this will save me a bunch of texts. He's off gr nt ch Trimmed In Copper. Briar Creek bred on bottom. He has a walker dog in 3rd generation but he's registered English in both registries. I was told he won a couple rounds at the baby stakes as a pup but I don't know that for sure.

I bought him and it took him a good 3 weeks to take up much and I knew that going in. Then he had a 2 week stretch where he treed coons and looked good. Last weekend he got treed in a sheep pen, guy came out and started hollering and shooting. I finally had to bump him with the collar to get him back in. Hunted him 3 times this week and we are right back where we started with him not wanting to hunt much. Just acts like he doesn't trust me or know what I want him to do. He did tree a couple last night. Both were 150 yards or less. Laid one of those up, other dogs didn't know it was there. He needs somebody with some patience to give him time and let him buddy up. He's a big pretty tri-colored dog.

That's the truth on him. Is what it is. $1200 and I'm loosing money. I'm just aggravated with him and I have a young female I need to be hunting putting this time to.
