Dept of Education

Oh my goodness, all of the dems are crying about "the poor students" being negatively affected by Trump closing the Dept of Education. The only people being affected are the liberal democratic beuracratic employees that are loosing their high paying do nothing jobs. Student test scores have been slowly dropping since 2012 despite Congress steadily increasing the budget of the Dept of Education. Something is wrong. It is time for a change.

I learned Latin as a high school Senior in 1965. Today they are teaching remedial English in college and a lot of high school seniors can't even read. Remember when they quit teaching cursive writing because it was too hard? We had courses in algebra and trigonometry but high school seniors today can't do simple math without the calculator on their phone. We had globes even in elementary school and classes in geography. Young people today have no idea where other countries are. There is definitely something wrong with our system of education. Taxpayer spending has doubled while students are learning less and less. Something has to be done. Just throwing more money at the problem isn't working.
