X bred female DOB 8/8/23 walker on top, bluetick on bottom. I got this little female last September and I have just turned her loose on Saturdays during the day to run with a couple other young dogs all winter. They treed a house cat and spent a lot of time gone to the woods during that time. She has stood in the pen most of the summer and I have just started taking her out at night in the last few weeks. I have taken her 2 times alone recently. The first night I turned a caged coon out where she was able to watch it run out of sight then I turned her loose. She picked up the track and took it 210 yards before she lost it. The next night I took her, I turned a caged coon loose then went back and got her. She finally picked up the track and treed a little when she got to the tree. The coon was there and she kept standing up on her back feet smelling the air.
