Don't care for any of them.luckily have never seen one while hunting or morel picking over the years.got a sister-in-law that lives in Amarillo texas.went down there back in 1997 to visit and stopped at a restaurant that had a rattler in a glass case.certain time of the evening they would put a rat in the case for his meal.cant remember the name of the place though.

Picture above was taken just across the Sulphur River from where I live. The guy walked right by him 4 times before he finally seen the snake.

You post some of the best photos of timber rattlesnakes. Just be very careful as they have some serious toxic venom. Some have neurotoxins in their venom and are known as a death bite if not promptly treated and I can imagine the hospital cost would be outrageous. Dave

I know of a guy that was bitten by a water moccasin and a copper head. He said he would twice rather get bit by a copperhead because the moccasin has a bacteria saliva that gets way more infectious.
