I know that he was the World Ch. B&T one year, and was killed by a train at the Purina Nationals not much long after that. Who knows what could have been.

Questions = (1) What dogs are out there out of Smokey IV? Based on when he was killed, they'd have to be about 6 yrs. old (at a minimum). (2) Does anyone have something linebred close on Smokey IV, Smokey III, or Smokey II?

I did see on this message board where Smokey IV was bred to a Redbone female. Then, a couple of years later, the Whitakers had an X-Bred dog in the World Hunt finals (Smokey IV x Redbone?).

Interested in learning more about this Smokey blood.
