sam,jess,dustin greenhorn need s your hel

we have a bear causeing problems on our land tearing into trash bins gardens and what not my ? is what does it take to keep a bear up in the tree we use about 9 but i only have 3 2 walkers and a engilsh that will run them black monsters i have a female iam going to put on bear this year so could i do it with 4 or is it better to use more iam still wet behind the ears this makes my 2nd year doing it sam dustin jess i need your help what do you think run teh hide off of him or leave him alone hes about a 350 400 pound bear

LOL, Chris.

It only takes ONE dog to tree a bear, I don't care what size. A rank bear won't tree for any amount of dogs, no matter what size.

Just depends. It could be a big push over and spook up at a hous dog fart. Then again you might never put him up. Whatever that bear has in his mind ain't likely gonna change...

Like everyone said it all depends on the bears attitude. But what the heck its worth a try. If all the dogs come back to you shortly after they get him caught, then you know what kind of bear dogs you have, or should I say don't have. Let us know how it went.

well it was fun we ran him from 9 -12 and they bayed him up at the base of a big pine tree he was dareing the dogs to come on in for a lil tangle he would start up the tree and my smiley dog would grab him my male dog demon did the same it was a good race and a even better to see my female iam going to start this season in with them at the tree she wasnt scared or nothing id say this is what she was needing those teeth were poping and jaws poping to i love bear hunting
