mountain lion?

It is believed that there is a mountain lion killing sheep near my home. There have also been a number of sightings all around are area. What is the best way to trap and kill one of these dang things. They are new to us around here and we flat out don't want them. And I really don't want my coonhound tore up by one either. Obviously livestock is a much easier kill than deer and that gets expensive quickly. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
Jason

If ya got some trashy young dogs and can get to a kill farely soon after finding it walk em on leash tell they start wanting to go and turn em loose. They aren't the big SABRETOOTH people killing things that alot of people make em out to be.Usually they are scared to death of dogs. You will usually find that the livestock killers are either juveniles who have been sent out on their own or an older, much older adult that just can't do it anymore.Believe me they would much rather stay in the woods and eat deer than come in where they know people are.
