We have been treeing them coons this week. Tuesday night in a PKC hunt on the first drop we had a 3 way split in some thick stuff. One dog was minused, Swag and the other dog were circled because it was too thick to shine. After recasting, Swag got deep. I heard him locate with about 20 seconds to go in the hunt. Hunt time was over. 7 seconds after hunt time expired he located the 2nd time and locked it down and started treeing a little over a half mile. Went to get him and he had the groceries which would have won the cast. You can't win them all but he sure has been looking good. Come watch him go, bring your measuring stick. He isn't retired.
He is a lot of fun to hunt. He doesn't make many mistakes and is almost always going to give you a chance. He trees them year round but he really shines when the leaves come off when you have to tree them coons.
There are 3 nice females booked to be bred to Swag in the remaining months of 2017. I will post them as they are bred. They are going to be nice crosses. His pups are in high demand! He is proving to put a lot of track speed and track power into his pups along with the brains to do it. They are independent, loud and coon crazy.
