Fellow Hound Hunters,

The HSUS has sponsored legislation (Senate Bill 1221) that would ban the use of dogs for the pursuit of bear and bobcat in California.

Fellow Hunters its time to unite together and not let these liberals dictate our freedom and way of life. Please send e-mails, letters and phone calls to this Senator's Office and let him know that you disapprove of these Senate Bill proposed changes.

Senator Ted W Lieu is the sponser of SB 1221 so if you wish to contact him you may but I do not think he will stop a bill he has already introduced.

I did leave him a couple of paragraphs pointing out that he is being used by the HSUS but I am sure it will fall on deaf ears.

I also got in touch with my local state senator's office and requested that they defeat the bill. I would hope all california's will at least send a message to their local senators asking that the bill be defeated. If we do not act now we will loose everything we have ... get up and do something now we are about to lose our right to hunt in california. Not just hounds but all hunting in the end...

We need to talk to all hunters and ask them to write in or call or even send an email to their local senator and stop these types of bills. The HSUS has stated that they want to stop all hunting and the will start with the hounds and then they will get the trappers and then the weekend deer hunters and so on until they get it all.

And for those of you in other states you will be next. HSUS has stated that they wish to stop all hunting in the United States.

We need to band together and stop it now ... not next week or next month or next year. Now or we are heading down the road to non hunting.... by the general citizens...
