Astro 320 questions.

I have a new 320, and have a couple questions for you guys that have some experience with them. I use a FM radio with 157 frequency, and have been told that this frequency is high enough that it will not harm the Garmin. I would like to hear that from someone who knows. I do not want to burn one up, but it would be nice to use the radio with the garmin on if possible.
I would also like to hear some opinions on the birdseye map system. Does the Garmin have a big enough screen to make this map practical? And does this map slow the overall system down any? Any answers regarding these questions would be much appreciated.

From what i have been told. Stay away from 151 thru 154. Your right 157 should be high enough. Also keep your power down on low and you should be fine.

from wat ive seen you can run 151-154 and also some 157 and 158, the trick is : when you run 151- 154 you have to change you collar numbers around, when you run 154 channels you gotta keep you collar numbers as low as possible like 1-15 , if you go higher your radio will make a static noise about every 5 seconds, with the 151 you have just gotta play with em to git it right, but f you run alot of collars your best bet is to try 157 or 158, also you have gotta keep you radio on the lowest setting possible or you will fry the garmin and wat i mean by that is you wont be able to track much over a1/2 mile, no matter what channel you run you gotta keep your radio turned down, and if you have an antenna on your truck that you use for your garmin you have to keep it at least 4 foot away from your radio anntenna or that will also cause problems, also best thing to do is update the software on your collars and the garmin as much as possible, if you follow that you will be fine, thats wat me and my buddies have learned and done and we have good success with it
