Had a pretty good turnout there,,,now just to figure out how to bear hunt,,,no clue,anybody out there got any ideas or can guide ,me in the right way, all I have is coon hounds I do have a litter of pups on the ground right now what do i need to do to start them..thanks

Wish I would have made the trip down, 7 hour drive for me round trip. Would have like to talk with some of you all that are wanting to bear hunt. I think there should have been a few with bear hunting experience that joined up.
Plenty of men right on this board that can get you started.
I've been a few times in W.Va. and know very little about it but let me know if I can help. I hope to get down that way and run a few this fall. Get as many guys as you can and work together, that seems to be the best way to get one treed.

How can i get a membership? Also, I live in NC and have a cabin in Lewis county KY. The way i come up is up 23 through Pikeville, I've got bear dogs and would love to come up and run some, I don't have to kill. You can run your dogs with mine as a kind of trainer, and i can be a semi-guide.

Box is empty sorry about that,,try it now..
This is the first yr that bear hunting wih hounds is legal in ky,,ever,bear season just opened in ky a couple yrs ago..The ky houndsmen is responisble for the start up of the club right now we are trying to promote the sport since it is new,,hope it all goes good...Some of the details I really dont know for sure..It is all kinda new.. to me,, I have no clue about bear hunting,
