Thanks Mr. Parker. Dan turned out to be a really nice hound. Dan had some slick treeing issues when he was young, But with age he turned out to be very independent, a split treeing fool, that was very good about having a coon in his tree! What I liked about him best was that after he opened he would put 300 to 600 yards in between barks, and did it with speed. Dan was a very nice looking hound, 2nd or 3rd type strike dog, with a good locate, and classy chop mouth tree dog. I wanted to hold on to his semen, But with Nevergone shutting down, and my age, It is not in my best interest to try to keep two dogs stored. I have enough semen stored on Chief to last me the next 10 plus years, as well as a couple of nice young males in my kennel.

Own half of his litter mate sister little thing had a horn on her cut her and you better have your boots on she was gonna be parked some where under a coon. she also threw some good pups I have a 8 year old GRNITE female of her also. 6 pups in Dan's litter all made coondogs.
