Don "Doc" Rasmussen died on Sat.
Doc Rasmussen died on Sat. in a vehicle accident. He was a long standing and dedicated Leopard man. He was a good friend of Ron Ganus' going back over 35 years. He owned the Ganus' Sparklin Sadie female, and Ganus' Magnum Maggie that many of you see in your pedigrees today.
Doc helped me out when ever he could from answering many veterinary questions, to lending me his good Leopard Mouse for several months to breed to my females.
I'm sure Ron could write a book about all of the stories and good conversations they've had over the years.
Here's a nice picture of Doc and Ron from a couple of years ago.
Here's another picture of Doc and his then young son John with Sadie. When I was over at Doc's house a few years back he gave me this picture and was very proud of it.
