showing

are they going to some sort of breed standards for showing are they going to have to be cat footed or strong footed are they going to have to have dark eyes are light colored are they going to be aloud to have dew claws our no dew claws and is any color variation aloud like with the leps. Just wondering because as a bench show judge i would like to know.

The X-Bred category will not have a breed standard because it is not a breed. It is a category. Those dogs will have to display coonhound "type" in order to be single registered as X-Bred. Type is not hard to understand as it is to explain. We all know it when we see it.

Conformation shows are exclusive to pure bred dog breeds. Performance events are not. Not sure how to explain it in more simple terms than that but am willing to try if there are still questions.
