I just received my ballot for the NHBA Hall of Fame and I have to say after looking at the dogs on there, there is definitely some tough choices to be made. This is the most dogs I've ever seen nominated since I've been a Gold member and every dog on there has an outstanding reputation. Wow!!!

For what its worth...
Keen's Shania and Keen's Magic shouldn't even have to be placed on a ballot to get into the HOF. it should be automatic.
those two are the only pair to produce 2 world hunting beagle champions.
Black Ice Oscar and Willie - both out of Shania and Magic.

What a list of hounds!!!!
The NHBA HOF accepts 2 hounds every year into the HOF. As we all know there are WAY more than 2 hounds that are deserving each year. Some may not agree but the HOF is to not only to award a hound for their accomplishments (in the field or in reproducing) but for the respect of those who vote. I have heard over the years about its merely a popularity contest. I dont agree, I think it is a hound that meets the requirements that has the respect of the majority of the voters. It is important for each voter to read the right ups and make the best decission. Your HOF depends on it. REMEMBER it is a big honor to be NOMINATED!!!
I'm sure each of us can come up with a few others that didnt get nominated that are just as worthy. In the end only 2 get in.
I personnaly want to congratulate all the nominees as they all are very deserving and I for one will have a tough vote.
NHBA needs more Gold members so those who are not get on board and help all that NHBA stands for.
