My favorite crosses on Albert were out of old Rose,a Ranger 5 daughter, and the female that produced Andy and Max, Scotty and Larry Johnston's two Grand Nites.

I hunted a lot of nights with Albert and a bunch of his offspring.

Love that bloodline.

When you think "albert pups" what's some of the traits that first come to mind
The things that are consistently there

I loved Amous and he's buried here at Bristol Ridge In my Wick Hunting Jacket knowing I couldn't buy another. Gave 140.00 for it and my wife thought I was crazy. She just didn't understand my Love for that Old Hound. Nuff Said. Amous and the Coons Him and Star caught.

Amous and Star the Year they caught these coon. There's another row above the Picture.

Old Sue was a coon dog in every department.

My Belle female was the first female Gary ever bred to Albert.

Sue had the prettiest, loudest horn bawl mouth that you about ever heard on a female.

Big hunter, track driver, and a tree dog deluxe.

I sure wish I had another just like her today.

Here she was...

Here is old Belle,her mother...

My wife holding my favorite son of Albert, Gene Degraffenreid's Blue Newton.

Old Newt was a sweetheart of a coon dog.

He was out of old Rose.

Mr woofter

I love the barn hide pics
We have one from my teenage years printed in black and white
I still stop and gaze at it regularly
As far as the wick jacket one word is enough RESPECT!
Thank you for sharing

Mr carroll

Thank you for the pics and info
Sue looks real stocky I like it
When i seen you made a cross i figured you was just to modest to list your own breeding as a good one.
Its pretty easy to see why you both have the pups you have now
I trust the albert blood but wasn't old enough to have the hands on experience so I love hearing about them from the guys that "have been there done that"

The old Ranger/Albert bred dogs were my favorite Blues of all.

Logan was a nice one.

I always thought it was pretty cool that I got to go get him off the first tree he ever made.

I was hunting with Gary, and he said, "Let's throw that old pup in and take him."

We took him along, and he got off by himself and made a tree.

I went and got him for Gary.
