i don't get on here anymore, but I thought I would let you all know Bud Keller passed away last year.

Kellers Mike reinvented what a comp hound was, and bud was one of a kind.

his daughter is still buying fur in the old building in collens, and last I heard they/he had around 80,000 coons at the fur auctions.

I just came across his daughter the other day (or niece I cant remember which she is to be honest) and found out myself. I thought she said last year, but I really wasn't paying attention to the date to be honest.


as for being a stranger on here nowadays......ya I don't even remember the last time I looked at the site let alone logged on.

English, hounds, and coon hunting in general, are in the rear view for me. something I enjoyed for several decades, but have no desire to ever do again.

now days I spend my "dog time" working on training 2 Malinois dogs. turns out I'm pretty decent at it believe it or not.
