How would plotts do on coyotes

I was wondering if anyone has ever used plotts for coyote hunting I know general specking they would have to wear a coyote out to catch one. But I was wondering because I have heard that a lot of treeing dogs don't push them out of the country like running stock dogs and a coyote tends to stay in a smaller area running a loop and I ask about the plotts because they are said to be one of the best to hold their own in a fight

Call Rex Morgan , Iowa, he has started young Plotts on yotes for many years and then made top dogs out of them on coon.I never had the nerve to do it but if you know Rex he could do it and make it work, and I think his dogs did their fair amount of catches. A lot of it may have been hunting during daylight hours and after dark. Rex said his wild yotes always wore dark sunglasses.
