According to bob plott he does.. But i havnt seen any proof of it.. The way the breed was set up and has been for the last 100 years or so they all should be about the same with the same ancestors that von brought over..

Im from NC and I thought the Plotts developed their dogs after they came to NC. I was just looking for a pup that was linked to as close as possible to the original strain of dogs. I hunted walkers for 24 yrs and now I hunt curs. I was looking for a hound and figured to try a plott.

Bob Plott or Rusty Gill, both of these men have pure Von Plott Dogs & all are honest men to deal with....

But I think Bud Lyon has hunted this strain for years,always has top dogs.VonPlott strain
