What do you call a pup trainer

Just wondering what every body calls a pup trainer. I use an older dog that is real easy going but is as straight as they come. But I have been with guys that use a dog that will burn every thing in the woods. I know you can knock the rough edges off a trashy dog but why not start them in the right direction to start with. this so called pup trainer ran two deer and killed a skunk and the guy was praising his pups up like crazy and wonders why I won't hunt my pups with other peoples dogs.
