Puppy Starting
My name is Jamey Jackson I am 17 years old and I am looking to start a couple of pups. I am out of school for the summer and all our pups have graduated from the starting pen. Dad and mom built me a 3 acre pen filled with blackberry bushes and nice paths. I prefer the pup be at least 5 months old. I will start your pup whether it takes a week or 2 months. Teach it basic command. it will be worked daily. Rate is $100 plus a bag of dog food. 2 openings only. Located in western Knox County Ohio

Even though I'm in school I still have time to start pups until dad does any breedings and I have our pups to start. Dad is awful picky about breeding. Might not ever have any pups of my own. I really like starting pups. So I'm sure i'll have time to start your pups.
That sounds like a great deal!!!! Just to help you out most people charge 75$ to 150$ per pup and a bag of dog food.
I would raise your price if I was you. That is a lot of time with a pup for that price. If you do good with peoples pups they will pay you that price all day long!!!!
We will keep you in mind when we have or next pups.

I just want to give an update. For now I am accepting no more pups to start. I have a few lined up that I still will start. I am starting back to school and have to see what my schedule is and the NHBA hunts are starting back up. I might start more when I know how my schedule is. Thanks for all that trusted me with their pups. They sure were a lot of fun to start.

We have started a dozen or so pups now. We were charging $45 a pup plus a bag of food. We are increasing our price to $75 and a bag of dog food. Your pups will be worked daily. When we call you to come and get it, it will be well started. We have one opening and will start taking names again.

Update
Hey guys we have started a lot of pups and they take a lot of time. Some more than others. We are raising our price to $100 a pup plus a bag of purina pro plan 30/20. We keep your dog until we get it started. We prefer it to be a minimum of 6 months old and will not take any hound over 14 months old. You can reach Jamey, Chase, Bill, or Laura in the evenings. I took a REAL project to the Jacksons and I mean a hyperactive project.. They did a outstanding job with him !!!!! I highly recommend that anyone wanting to get a pup into a pen don't hesitate to give them a call. I was overwhelmed by the progress my pup made in a short time he was there . They called a few times to tell you the progress your dog is making and took good care of him most importantly. Thanks a million ...
