Dan River Red Lilly
My boys and I have decided to part with Lilly if anyone is interested! We have two young dogs we’re hunting right now and she’s too good a hound to sit in the kennel. She just turned 7 on New Years Day and has raised only two litter of pups if anyone was looking for a nice female to raise pups off of. She also has two cast wins out of the five she needs to make nitech,one of which was high scoring female last year at Southern Days on Friday night. She is an excellent dog to start young dogs with, she had Bandit under her wing pretty much the whole time after he got here from Missouri until he started going on his own. She has an awesome nose, will tree layups at times, and a text book style tree dog. She likes to have a companion when you unsnap the lead so you’ll have to walk with her until she strikes a track or hunt her with another hound. She’ll go deep as the other dogs will go and she’ll be right with them, but she’s not gonna hunt out on her own. Once she strikes she’ll carry it as far as it takes to get it treed. She has hunted out on her own a few times but I’m not gonna advertise her as that. She’ll also be perfect for kids who are interested in getting into the sport, there’s not a mean bone in her.
