I've got a 3 1/2 year old female her first three heat Cycles were normal her last two she never swelled a bit never bled a drop. If not for a male dog I have here that'll tell me when ones coming in and it her exact time to come in you'd never know. After a week or running around her kennel barking like an idiot and not eating he goes right back to normal. Exact same thing last two cycles.
