Camper Shell Setups..

Anybody hunt with a shell? I added one in the Spring and I’m curious if anybody has any particular set-ups they like or dislike. I’ve used an Owen’s top storage box for years. It will fit but obviously the storage won’t open all the way and cannot access from the sides. Looked at a few of the molded kennels like Ruffland, Gunner, and Dakota. Access, Gear storage..etc. Opinions welcome!

I use one dog kennels crates or box with no storage and built a platform so they set as high as shell..Can put boots bowls ,extra stuff under there and everything stays dry..Got enough room for a tool box up front for any extras needed just have to take out boxes..Extra cab truck with enough clothing and stuff that I very seldon ever need tool box

Thanks Johnny, that’s a good idea. Maybe you can fabricate something for me in all your spare time - haha!

It’s a double cab Tacoma so it’s got enough room for change of clothes/jackets etc. Mainly trying to figure out storage for leads/collars/rifle/first aid etc.. plenty of room so more of trying to keep everything organized I guess.

We built mine but find you a organizer that goes on back of front seats for you rifle..Some of them have a bunch of pockets for shells garmins and such..I can take my crates out and throw them on side by side and get double use out of them
