Coonhunting has been my favorite hobby for about 28 years. I've been very fortunate to own some really nice hounds. I bought turkey at 16 months of age and he has developed into the best coondog I've owned. He's not perfect but he as balanced as I could ask in a dog. He's a beautiful, dark red, athletic dog around 70 lbs, he has a excellent bawl mouth on track, 3 bawl locate and a hard pressure treedog. He made nt ch pretty easily by treeing coons away from the other dogs and holding pressure. He's very intelligent and has learned how to tree coons that my dogs of the past would not have treed. I've had a few guys asking me when am I going to have pups out of him so I'm offering him at stud. He has some of the best breeding that the redbone breed has to offer. Turkey has the two biggest winning females in the breed behind him along with Little Pepper and Ice.Turkey will make an impact on the breed in a good way in the future.This one is a no brainer.

There's a good chance that turkey will have a chance to breed a nice fireball bred female. She's out of nt ch fireball hacksaw jack and her momma has a good dose of twister, fireball and timber knockin bozo. Still working out the details for now.

This is where I'm supposed to say how awesome turkey is but last night I lost a cast to better dog with a classy owner. Turkey had 1 split tree on a den that kept me from beating a nice 6 yr old walker male. It was a great hunt with a great cast. I can't say that very often. Happy Easter everyone.

Ken, I know that these htx hunts aren't real popular yet but Ienjoy them a lot. There's no arguing, no bs, no cheating to put up with, just a dog being graded on ability alone.

Dave, I think you'll enjoy the htx hunts. I'm sure you've seen some titled dogs that couldn't tree a coon alone. Well, the htx degree proves a dog can do it alone on 3 different nights with 3 different inspectors.
