Thanks David
Been fortunate to breed 3 good females lately. Carl Nuckles of Beckley W.V. bred his Dual Grand female to Clear Rver Jimmy in July and she just recently had 13 pups. Bob Powell also bred his female out of Stan Wagner's Jug and Ellie dogs to Jimmy. David bred his Smokey River bred Nt Ch female to Jimmy this month. Should be some nice pups in all 3 litters if everything works out.
Some constants that I hear from owners off Jimmy offspring in every litter. They are smart, have great personalities, loud, great track speed, easy to start and they want to please. I've seen the same things out of the pups I have kept myself.
One thing that does come up, no matter what litter, is that some of his pups will not mess with a cage coon. I don't hardly ever mess with a pup on a cage coon but I have seen some that don't care for a dead coon either. However they love the scent and will run and tree. Saw a young dog off Jimmy, 2nd night out, take his feet off the tree he was treeing on when the coon came out, sniff the coon that had fell out of the tree dead, then put his feet back on the tree and go back to treeing. If you want a cage coon dog or a radical kill dog, some of these Jimmy pups might not work for that. If you want something that doesn't need cage work to get them going, you might want to try a Jimmy pup.
