Someone told my son Ben that MT was handing out permission for houndsmen to handle trouble bears.

Our season is going fine but I've not been hunting but once. I have to save my days for kill season. Ben has been hunting the training season with his Grandpa and they've had a some good times together. Kill season opens in NC on Oct. 15. I have to be in CT during that week but will try and make up for lost time when I get back.

Did Mark go to the world finals?

Yeah, Mark went and I did too so we could both drive. It's a long way for one guy to drive straight through. Boomer didn't make it into the second round, he got beat by Moonlight Kate. She won the Purina Race in 2004 and is the 2007 World Champion Redbone. I hunted my Billy dog in the slam hunt on Friday and placed 2nd so I had a good weekend. How did Ben do at his big hunt?
