I joined the North Carolina Bear Hunters Association at the first of the year and have not received anything back like a letter, membership card, or any response??? I know if you join it said that you received a subscription to bear hunting magazine and I have not received that either?? I looked on their website and their is no contact information except their mailing address to the directors. Can anyone help me on this?? I know they recieved my check because it was cashed. Thanks. Yea I was a member 2 years ago. Took forever to get the membership info...and that was it. No correspondence...except for the magazine. The website is also really poor. Anyway, my guess is that it will come...I think I had to wait 3 months for the magazine. I think the NC Sporting Dog Association is a better membership.

joined them for years last time was 2006 no correspondence web site never chaged got nothing for years except a window sticker board members stay within a few miles still nothing

Junior call Matt Pait 910-625-9056 he can help. Guys i'm a board member and i can tell you that the north carolina bear hunters association is the best place to spend your money if you hunt with hounds, you would not believe it if you knew how many miles these guy's drive to fight for your rights to hunt with dogs and it all comes from their own pockets, gas and motels. Guy's we don't need this we need to stick together and support them what they do is for every dog hunter out there member or not.

I just spoke with Matt Pait and he was very helpful and explained the process of membership. This was not intended to be a negative post towards the North Carolina Bear Hunters Association if it has been taken that way I apologize. I am a proud member of this fine organization and was only wanting information being a new member on how it works. We all as hunters have to stick together if We want to be able to continue to enjoy the sport We all love. Matt explained to me of meetings this week in Clinton and Waynesville NC that the organization is attending to help do just that. I hope there are as many members there that can be. Thanks to Matt for his help and let's all get behind this fine organization and others out there of its kind. Junior Watson
