I wouldn't say they are smarter in the way a border collie is smarter in a sharp and energetic way. It's more like someone installed a wisdom chip in the brains of most Leopards. It's when you go to working them that you really see the results of this "chip". They certainly are more bidable and this may be, in part, a result of the way they are smarter. It's a very nice thing to have when you use your dog a lot. It doesn't seem to be as noticeable for the fair-weather hunters from what I've noticed but good, practiced trainers nearly always comment on this topic when they work with their first Leopards. It quite obvious that they have a real appreciation for the type of mind that most Leopards possess.
