I've seen a few and hunted against two. One of those I hunted against was Hornet owned by Dennis Prewit. That dog got a strike in front of my old Rachel female. He was one of the only dogs to do that. Rachel took the track away and catch in the corn which earned them minus strike points. You might want to call Dennis and talk with him, he's had more of those in recent history than anyone. The ones I saw looked like jacked up border collies. That's not to say they had border collie in them, it's just to paint a mental picture. Dennis' dogs were much nicer looking than the others I saw.

if you followed mcduffie in some of his ramblings, he spoke of farm shepherds and the leps kinda crossed up in the early days and that the long haired dogs were throw backs to the early days, i'm still kinda lookin around for a lep x border collie or english shepherd but if not i'd try a long haired lep lol

Lamar Meeks had a really good looking long haired female at Walker Days in February. I am sure she is long gone but he could probably point you in the right direction.

Rick,

I have a guy that is producing some of the best b.c.'s I've seen. If you get a female, I'll provide the Leopard and start working on a project with you. You wouldn't believe how many people have asked me to make some first cross lep/b.c. for bobcats. I think that would be one of the smartest and game catching batch of small game dogs around. I also have just the ticket to put some legs on them. If your game for it, I am!
