Helping a friend research X-bred dogs and he wants walker X black and tan cross. Any idea what crosses best? Walker male to black tan female or black male to walker female? Also what bloodlines cross well? He claims make right crossbred breeding and you will never hunt pure breed again.

Probably the best was a wipe out over on a ruger bred female. His name was hard rock

I've got a cross now will be 6 months old in January Hardrock top and bottom close.

They bred Honey Creek Spider to Novak"s Flo IV, Randy says his female from that cross is just what he's been wanting to replace his female Flo. An old friend of mine says it frees up the blood, when you out cross, i think it breaks up the genectic circle, i've hunted with some real coon dogs out of crosses like that.
