Randy, I had to laugh to myself when I read his comment on the Blue studs...Maybe he doesnt like the Blue because they cant get them to point like the Red & White ones do! Seen it too many times to have any of it on my place....

A Blue stud produced a grandson that became a World Champion in recent times....To each his own I guess??

I'll second that there has been alot of good Blue studs out there and still are, Gun came from a great line of hounds and a good blue grandfather. And i still say some of the best stud dogs out there that are true coondogs are the ones that dont get promoted or are out back of a barn. There has been some great hounds of the past that werent red and white but some see those just as colors, Not to mention alot of the just red and white have alot of pointer shaped heads on them for me, We bred to Jesse Lee last year and got a beautiful blue male of him and our female for this years project. And Randy from what i have heard Wildflower is a real nice dog the mouth i like and nose so goodluck with him, Im not much for traveling to a stud but would love to get a pup off him or bred to ours someday.

steve i agree 100% the best hound in the world is behind the barn for sure and has never been to a nite hunt.not many people here in my country has money to promote hounds eating comes first.lol my country is the good old usa.we would sure be happy for you to get a pup or breed someday.thanks again we are breeding jesse lee female today nice hound.

Nichol's Tree Spike would be near the top of my list for reproducing blue dogs.

Lightfoot Bruno certainly belongs on the list.

There are others, but people should certainly know these two.

Coon don't know what color dog trees it you train your own dog. It looks better no matter the color. Does a black headed walker throw better pups than a brown one. No if it is throwing pups I don't care the color or pups color anyone that know anything about blood knows its all red. Most people breed to what is hot so pups.will sale and bring more money that money is name of game to most

tick and black and white they dont ask for blue so he doesnt use blue studs dogs your right the coon cant tell the color but the buyers can that is why the blue one is still there it is a change from what he usesly gets and they walk over it and took the red and white and redtick pups now with that said he would have to be nuts to want a hole littler untile this one can make the way for the blue dogs

Next time u breed and have blue one and want rid of it and cant sell it because it is blue don't knock it in head call me I will take. And make a believer out of u u show people blue tree and do as good as pretty red ones they will see the light don't b a follower all your life. Lead ever man is equal just because someone can afford to buy trained dogs don't mean they know all about breeding lead man don't follow u will feel better about u and your dog

THEY DIDNT TAKE THE BLUE ONE DID THEY I HAVE BRED DOGS A FEW TIMES IN MY LIFE AND I CANT EVERY REMEMBER A BLUE ONE I WOULD TIE UP I HAD SOME OF THE BEST BERTON ONEY BLOOD AND EVERY TIME I GOT A BLUE ONE IT DIDNT KNOW SICKUM FROM COMEHERE THE FEMALE WAS GRAND DAUGHTER TO LITTLE JOE AND MY MALE WAS 3 YEAR OLD GRAND NIGHT THAT COULD WIN ANY HUNT HE WAS IN .OUT STANDING DOG THAT IS THE REASON IAM NOT HIGH ON BLUE DOGS IAM A QUICK STUDY YOU COULD SAY I LEARN THEN THEY DONT WORK FOR ME WHEN JESS WON THE WORLD HUNT THE BLUE DOG WAS STILL IN THE CORN LOST IN A MAIZE LOL HE NEVER DID GET OUT OF THE CORN. AND IN THE WOODS

since your the speaker of the house.he got stuck with black&white and said they hadnt been good blue stud in the pen or in the winners circle since jr??i asked a simply question would you have bred to jesse lee if he had won it and he said he didnt deal in hypothetics.lol i was asked to share the name of any good blue dogs since jr.i throughed some names out there just a few.no comment the old high hat.and claude the blue english dont need his pup to carve the way for the bluedogs they have done pretty well for thereself.and if you will look you will see there is and has been alot of great blue hounds.so you keep selling them brownies claude and i seen were you didnt wont a pup now from bobby williams liz female because he bred to old wildflower.lmao

I got my first English dog for my seventh birthday I hunted him ever night by myself I am fifty six do the math I didn't say anything about Richard I owned and hunted several dogs from rocky I bought last female ref dickey had rocky was one of best reproducers ever period . So I have had and hunted all colors . But it takes a open mind to go a way no one else goes so that being said you never know what you get when u breed. We need to look as much or more at the female they mean a lot more than a lot of people know. Would u breed your pretty red dog to a ugly blue female

what im saying thats the problem. people wont bred because hes blue or he aint all grand or aint world ch...go to the woods with them big dogs and go home laughing. ive hunting against alot of them they dont look that good when they draw out with a coondog.no matter what color they are treeing real live coon is the name of the game were i come from.coondog is a word i dont use loosely..
