My Grandpa used the name Beltress in his plott hound names when he raised plotts that were bred to or from Dale they were called Beltress Pioneer. Any info would be great. Just wanting to know if anything came out of his hounds. It was around the 70's , 80's maybe early 90's. Thanks

When you mentioned the name Dale, could you possibly be talking about Dale Brandenburger ? His kennel name was Pioneer.

Yes I am. My Grandpa raised many plott pups that he bred to Dales hounds. Dale bought many pups off my Grandpa and they traded many pups. When he did this he would put Beltress or Beltress Pioneer on the papers. To indicate the cross or partnership. Any help would be great. I know its a longshot being in the 60's, 70's , and 80's to early 90's

I received a call today and found out that one of his hounds produced at least 2 Hall of Famers. Sarge lll and Montana Scout . Thats pretty cool to me. Beltress Penny was her name and she had 3 legs. She lost half her back leg hunting and got it caught in a fence. She had chewed it off and came home after looking for her. She still stood at bench like a pro. People in the area have told me about her but I never knew any history. Thanks for the phone call. It meant the world to my Grandpa to hear this

Can one look up a pedigree if you have the dogs registration number ? How far back can you go back if so?
