Pups are all sold. Thanks to everyone who called about them. It has been great to talk with so many good houndsmen from around the country. May you all have a great new year, and may God richly bless you.

Good pups

I picked up a male from this cross and I'm very pleased so far. He has a big mouth, big houndy looking rascal, and is as bold as I have seen in a while. Can't wait till he gets old enough for the timber. Thanks again Scott for meeting us.

Thanks Burt,
It was good to meet you and your family. I hope that the boys enjoy learning to coon hunt as ya'll train this pup together.
My none month male out of the same female is doing great. He appears to be the most natural young hound that I've ever hunted. I hope all of these pups are the same way.

Pup

That's definitely encouraging. My boys already got him pretty much broke to the lead and are having a blast with him. He bayed my wife's pot belly pig yesterday. He's got some grit. I had to go and get him away from pig. .

I've updated the pictures of those that are left. A big thanks to everyone who has already bought a pup from this cross. I've also included the dam's pedigree. It will be hard to buy a better bred better looking pup than these.

Female

I still like the looks of the light blue female. These are some houndy pups for sure. I can't leave my pup with pig anymore. Every time he sees the pig he goes after him.

Thanks Countryboy.
I would have been glad to have brought you a pup. They will make some very good ones.

Burt, you may have to just eat the pig so the pup can get some rest

Great pup

I have a female out of this cross she is an amazing dog. I got really lucky to get her from all I have been reading about her Sire and Dam. I can't wait to take her hunting when she gets a little older.

Pups

Pups just turned 3 months old this week and I am really pleased with mine still. Very smart pup and full of grit. I have finally had to keep my male pup separate from the pig. Pup has gotten more aggressive on baying the pig and the pig has had enough. Pig rolled him down the hill the other day and pup got back to his feet and turned up the pressure. Great mouth on him and he is a fiery rascal for sure. I will try and keep this post going so everyone can give updates: good or bad.

Great report Matt. I am really excited about this litter and I'm glad to hear that your pup is starting so well so early. The coons will be in trouble this winter.
