Article XV

Bluetick Breeders Of America, Inc

Special Awards & Memberships

Section C.

Eligibility for Special Awards: To receive special awards provided by BBOA, all owners listed on UKC Registration must be current on Membership prior to the event in which the Special Award is to be presented. As of January 1, 2013, because of change in UKC policy to drop the words “and/or” on UKC Registration, ALL people listed as owners are required to be current BBOA Members to qualify for Special Awards. Handlers must be able to provide proof of all owners for Special Awards to be presented. Handlers need NOT be members of BBOA.

To make sure I’m reading this right. A person can’t become a member at the hunt and be eligible for the prizes.

You can sign up at hunt & are eligible for awards, but it has to be before you hit the woods on a given night. But you can't win big tonight & try to sign up tomorrow & still be eligible for awards. Take care, Ron.

Must be a member BEFORE the event you are entering

IE example entering bench show on Friday you must be a member before you show to be eligible for the King or Queen of Show on Saturday.
