I know this question has likely been raised multiple times, however what's the best thermal? I am currently using a pulsar helion xq38f and every time I'm close to the tree and hold it on a 45 degree angle or more it turns the whole top of the tree red, or if I'm using the black hot setting everything is black, from a distance it is awesome but up close i cant seem to figure it out.

I have the AGM 25 Sidewinder and I can't seem to get it to work right. I had the original AGM 125 ASP and really liked it but of course they don't make them anymore. Maybe I just don't know how to set this new one but I've tried everything. Biggest issue for me is very small viewing area.

Someone told me to turn the contrast all the way up and the brightness all the way down, I'm not sure i just know I'm struggling.
