no bark collars

over the years I have thrown money away on most ever off brand bark collar that came out..
the only 2 I will consider are Dogtra and Tri Tronics/Garmin

Of these 2 brands I found the old Tri Tronics bark limiter to work on most dogs BUT Had a couple that they were not strong enough.
I bought a Dogtra YS 500 and it surely did the trick on both of them hard headed hounds .That model YS 500 has been replaces by the 600.
my 3 old 500's still work great so I see no reason to "update"...
Be aware that you cannot leave them on constantly as the contacts will surely wear a hole in the skin of the neck and cause infection..

Im using garmin bark limiters. You can catch them on sale for 99.00.They work good.I also have the garmin pro trashbreaker with 5 collars i used mostly on beagles before i got a alpha gps.The trashbreaker collars will also go into bark collar mode and all 5 collars are still working good after 7 years of constant use so they are probably a tougher collar than the bark limiters. They are very durable.Cost more but you will have a shock collar outfit to use too.Id go with the pro 70 .They dont have antennas on the collars .Dogs will chew up the antennas on the trash breaker collars.A con ,dogs get collar wise and bark when theyre off and shutup when theyre on.
