John Wick has passed

John Wick was born January 11th, 1947 and, surrounded by family and friends, passed away October 23rd, 2025.

If our sport ever had an "Elvis" it was John. In a writing career that spanned over fifty years, he wrote thousands of coon hound training articles and three best selling books, "Walk with Wick: The Tree Dog Encyclopedia". He was a PKC and ACHA Hall of Fame member.

Most importantly, he touched and influenced generations of hunters and people from all backgrounds.

Much love to you "Boss", you touched my life and many others.

A legend he was. Condolences to his family. I'll always remember the package he sent when my mom passed away. The one least expected.
