That's awesome, John! If I'm not mistaken, Coat and Bolt are the only Htx & Dual Grand leopards in the world so far to date. I bet a female off of Coat bred to Bolt (or vice versa) would make an awesome future cross...

I have been out on 2 HTX with Bolt and he did a nice job both times. He is my type dog listens wonderful and will have the coon!! Straight as can be. Not a deep dog but will tree them all.

It was nice to hunt with a dog that is my type John. Folks I would suggest breeding to this dog based on what I have seen or buying pups from him if you like these traits. Hopefully he will reproduce them.

I bought Bolt from the Mcdills at around 6 months old. After lots of research into the leopards I thought he would be a great cross on my dog Cammy if he turned out. Both Cammy and Bolt go back to Lakers speed and Jug and everything I ever read about the RebXPretty girl cross i really liked. It was just after the summer Olympics when we got him and my kids wanted to give him a name that had to do with speed. Usian Bolt was just crowned the fasted man in the world so Bolt it was. Bolt was a natural, treeing his first solo lion at 11 months and his first bobcat at 12 months. I crossed Bolt and Cammy twice and had great results. After the second litter I decided to keep just females and work on inbreeding them. Selling Bolt was a mistake, but I'm glad he is in good hands and doing well. The pups from those litters are three and four years old now and making exceptional big game dogs.

The dog on the left is Daisy(first cross) center is Cammy, Then Hope(second cross) on the tree

This is a one year old grand-pup on a bobcat tree

Andy and I made Moo a swim champion and he is close to a show champion, plan on making him a field trial champion. If I could walk better I would make him a night champ. We have one htx place on him will enter him in the one time we entered him.

You hand Bolt have done real well, I like him a lot.

We will have 4 or 5 swims and maybe some field trials also. Look forward to competeing with you and Hillsborogh folks. Might have to look up Matt Hughes he won't know me I watched him compete in wrestling at EIU and his brother at Charleston High and EIU.

He is above most dogs but he is not drifter he stays on track from what I have seen. Nice Dog.
