This was their first time seeing a coon live or dead they were turned down for training as they hadn't run a drag you noticed I just stood silent with the camera to bad the battery went dead as it got intense . This was before knee surgery

Haven't been out knee has been slow coming around decided Rusty needed to knock some rust off guess he hasn't lost a step turned 8 in Aug. hasn't been out in a year . Boy the garmin is nice dropped him the end of my hay field walked in the woods about fifty feet he was 3 hundred yards out across a steep ravine heard him open about 400 yds. walked back to the truck started back to the road tree switch went off drove around the block treed within 100 ft. of the road big pine with a big boar looking me in the eye about a 20 pounder 3 ft. nose to base of tail this took all of a hour and spared the knee

Good to see you post and out and about just be carefull with that knee and have fun. Glad to see dogs doing good for you!

Been slow getting back they tell me I realy can't hurt the knee it's just a pain factor . Rusty hadn't been out in a long time and I realy can't stand just sitting the season out this hunt turned out great got to drive around the block and he was right next to the road . He proved his ability that keeps him here some dogs don't handle being put up for a long time but he worked like he's been out every night but the knee needs to be better to get some of these youngins out . I've had Patty out both coon and squirrel but even the bushy tails can get me in trouble but we can always sit and rest if needed .

I have a fem redtick off Hailes Red River 5 mo and a pair of males off My preacher male and Lucy B she's off Terry Raffertys Bo dog and my Lacey female lots of good old breeding . I'll try to get a add together with pedigrees and pics

Well I've made some hard decisions in the last few days . The fact I'm not able to do enough hunting and my wife being sick with no end in sight I'll be putting a add on for several pups and three males just over a year they will be priced pretty cheap If I have something your interested in send me a pm

Thanks Doug we've been on the back side of that curve for awhile now the wife has some kind of gut problem they can't seem to find the reason one last test this week if nothing is found we're off to Cleveland Clinic she hasn't been able to eat enough to keep a bird alive for the last six weeks . I haven't given up on the knee yet headed back to P.T. but time will tell seems I'll have to change my retirement plans again

Went to Oaks for a couple days got to visit with some old friends kinda tuff getting away these days nows the time to get at those young dogs weather has been hot here but see cool nights ahead have a new pup bringing some of my blood back and adding some name brand breeding in we'll see how he works out . Headed back to surgery on my knee hope not till after the first of the year if i can wait it out
