The question needs to be answered, have the vaccinated gave their bodies natural defense away for a short term benefit? No question if you survive the vaccine, more than likely you have at least a short term benefit but the long term, who knows. Everyone should have the right to weigh the risk/benefits, not some government libtard

What if that government libtard is a scientist with experience in virology and has studied all of the actual scientific evidence and weighed all of the risks/benefits?

Do you really think that you can do a better job of "weighing the risks/benefits" by talking to your buddies and reading YouTube, Facebook and TicToc than the Doctors/Scientists working at FDA and CDC?

Covid and the vaccine are not libtard vs conservative issues. One of the biggest and most powerful conservatives, President Trump helped develop the vaccine and believed in it. He was one of the first to get vaccinated even though he had already had Covid.

Do y'all remember when some were saying that females of child bearing age should not get vaccinated. They said that the vaccine would make them sterile. The same ones said that pregnant women should not get vaccinated because it would harm their unborn child or cause a miscarriage. Guess what, they were wrong. The vaccine doesn't cause problems but if they get Covid, it affects not only them but their unborn child. I guess that is another myth debunked. The CDC is now reccomending that all pregnant females get vaccinated immediately.

Well, less than 60% of the total population of America is fully vaccinated. Thanks to you anti vaxers and your misinformation, it looks like that is about as high as it is going to go.
The death toll from Covid is now averaging about 1800 people/day. That is about 12,600/week or 54,000 Americans dying each month. I guess that y'all think that isn't too high of a price to pay for "my body my choice".

In the interest of full disclosure, 8,164 Americans have died after receiving a vaccination. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that the vaccine caused their death, but they did die. That is the total for the 9 months that the vaccine has been available to everyone.

First, I don't understand what you are asking as usual. What does the number of people dying in auto accidents that were vaccinated versus nonvaccinated have to do with anything?
Are you trying to come up with more numbers that you can use to spread more misinformation?

Secondly, the statisticians that compile and report these numbers seem to be a little slow. The latest figures that I could find were 2019.

I agree that our government is power mad. Any government attempts to control its citizens. That is just the nature of the beast. However, our present leaders are "power mad". They have taken it to a new level.
They are trying to create a wlfare state to make citizens more dependant on the government. That will increase their control.
They are using Covid and have created a panicdemic to increase their control.
BUT, I think that the vaccine works and is a good thing. It was created to save lives and not for government control. Our present leaders are able to use the vaccine to further their control because of the antivaxers. Y'all are playing right into their hands. If everyone chose to do the right thing and get vaccinated on their own, it would take away the government's excuse to exercise their control and get rid of the panic all at the same time. It would be a win/win solution. The antivaxers are so paranoid against the government that even when the government does something right, they don't trust them. The antivaxers are just like the NeverTrumpers.

Here are some actual figures for you. Approximately 54,000 people died from Covid last month, that was 52,380 nonvaccinated and 1,620 fully vaccinated. Is that about what you were looking for? Getting vaccinated is not a cure all. The vaccine is not 100% effective. Nothing in life or medicine is 100%. Does that make you feel better about not being vaccinated?

You keep saying that naturally acquired antibodies are "better". But you seem to not even consider that you first have to get Covid to acquire these natural antibodies. Guess what, first you have to survive the Covid and not die or have long term Covid before you acquire the antibodies. Those "better" naturally acquired antibodies won't do you a bit of good if you are dead.

I have been reading through many of these post on this thread. Most everyone has some good points at stating the pro's and con's of getting the covid vaccine. I have decided to post my reply with the intention that maybe someone may change their mind about getting vaccinated. Maybe save someones life...

I did not initially plan on getting vaccinated. I watched a couple of family members in their late seventies die of covid. Went to their funerals and in my mind they were old and weak. Their bodies were broken down over time and immune systems were weaker than mine. At the time in my mind that was why they died of covid. I am 59 with a strong immune system. So again in my mind I had no fear of the virus and felt if I did get it my chances of surviving were good.

Couple months later and all of a sudden I see friends of mine. Men and women I have worked with over 20 years dying of covid. I sat and ate lunch with some of these people almost daily for years. They were part of my family. My work family... it saddens me to know they like me felt as if they were bullet proof. Some of them were younger than I. I am 59 and some of them were 49 years old, 53 years old, 57 years old and they are no longer. They are cremated or 6ft down in the ground. I went to there funerals in almost disbelief. I was walking and talking with them one day and they did not feel good. They went home to quarantine and in less than 2 weeks were dead. The last text I got from one of my deceased friends was "I have never been this sick...WISH I HAD GOT VACCINATED"!

Needless to say watching my younger than myself healthy friends die of covid definitely had a BIG impact on me. Also personally knowing at least 8 more close friends having to go in the hospital staying for weeks and then others getting the infusion. I don't know much about that except they said it really helped them.

I was like many of you and was against getting the vaccine but when you see those around you dropping like flies it has a way of changing ones perception. It did me anyway...

I think yes there is no substitute for natural immunity. If one has a natural immunity to the virus it don't get much better than that. The scientist in the video was just stating that fact. Unfortunately not everyone is going to have a natural immunity to this covid virus or any other virus. The bad part is you don't know who has the magical natural immunity. It might just be to late when you find out you are not lucky enough to be one of those lucky ones.

This virus is attacking younger people now and it don't take long and you are suffocating to death. A terrible death for anyone to experience. Think long and hard on this vaccine thing. I want to be around to play with my grand kids for many years to come. I know all of you enjoy many of the pleasures life offers and it would be a terrible thing to leave this earth before you had the chance to have all your fun. Think on it... it is my hope that this post may change someone's mind and they will get the vaccine but was previously against it. And yes I am a Redbone guy also... Take care and keep'em RED
