Gr.Nt.Ch.-PKC Ch. Ky Moonlight Breanna got another win at a $50 pkc hunt last night moving her back up to 2nd place in the redbone breed after falling a little when she was down with pups. Got deep...got split...had two looking down .....several times last night. Not 100% yet after weaning that last litter...but getting there

I sure am proud to be on the same team with all the other great breeders, trainers, and handlers who had a great winning weekend with these Moonlight bred dogs. Heard a lot of great and encouraging comments on Dual Grand Ch. Moonlight Aftershock and several of his pups who competed and won over the weekend. I think very soon the rest of the redbone community will start to notice that Shock and his offspring will continue the family tradition of winning big....and often. He only has a little less than 50 pups on the ground that are still living and most are just now getting to hunting age. I love to hear all the people talking at the hunts about drawing a pup off of him. To the guys on our team its old news...but it still makes me smile
Congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone who came out to support and participate in the event. I got to spend a little more time talking and visiting with people this year and had a great time. I look forward to seeing everyone in Belvue Michigan next year. It should be an exciting hunt with some big scores and I hope my team is ready for it with the next generation of Outlaw / Moonlight redbones......Shane

breeze

shes doin good. shes beatin horse to the tree when the track gets tough n does a super job on good tracks. shes a stand on the wood type of dog n only gets better n tighter on the tree every night out. i jus hope shell be ready for ss this oct.

I would like to congratulate Lisa Key (Daughter of Alton and Theresa Key) on her big win at the 2013 AKC Ladies World Championship handling Ky Moonlight Breanna. Breanna is heavy Moonlight/Outlaw bred top and bottom and Lisa's parents are the original breeders of the Outlaw line of redbones. Lisa drove a long way down to Peru Indiana from Wisconsin to handle Bree in this World Championship hunt and her and Bree came through with a big win and the highest score in the Ladies division of the World Championship to capture the title. A well deserved win for both of these girls
I would also like to congratulate Keith and Austin Bowling and Ragged Ridge Toadie who were also crowned as The 2013 AKC Youth World Champion. 8 yr old Austin handled Toadie to back to back cast wins with a total score of 800+ and no - only a week after scoring 3 Straight cast wins at NRBD's Holmesville Ohio. He has a trophy almost as big as he is and a nice new diamond plate dog box and several other prizes. Great Job Austin and Lisa.
There were only 2 redbones entered in this world championship hunt and they both beat out all the walkers, blueticks, black and tans, english to capture World Championship titles in the Ladies and Youth divisions. _

Hey Shane

I have got to use my new Banshee coon a few times now, and well it seems to be working pretty good. I think it may have a small problem...... It's seems to work great for me and find my coons but when I shine other people's and dogs trees it seems the coons won't look then. I don't know what that problem is . Just kidding, works great. Thanks alot.

Dual grand ch. And 2011 national redbone days champion nighty nite amber had 10 pups by grand nt ch greatful dead red a few days ago. This is a three generation all grand litter...should be some nice ones

Looks like the moonlight line and the rabble rouser lines are crossing with very nice results. Joe Maitland did very well at national redbone days with his young female out of moonlight aftershock and peanut. Peanut was a litter mate to Joe's ice age rage dog who was out of rabble rouser and a female who goes back to too the maxx......so that cross is very similar to the red x amber cross....in reverse.
Joes young female won two casts at national days with some impressive scores and I believe her 3 night score was somewhere around 1400+
I spoke to a couple of people who hunted with her and they had nothing but good things to say about her. Congrats to Joe and I am sure we will be hearing more about this female in the future.

Took Breanna to a couple of $kc hunts the past two nights and she managed to win her cast both times and pick up a few tokens. She was leading the breed till we bred her and had to lay her up to raise the pups. While she was down a nice dog called Danno managed to slide around her and put a sizable lead between himself and Bree. Probably won't be able to catch him this year but we are still gonna hit a few big added money token hunts so who knows what might happen before the end of the year
