Did some pup training today. Bandit is a natural treedog at 3 1/2 months of age. He did a great job of tracking, locating and treeing a coon hide. Turkey x rouser bred females are really showing natural ability.

Neighbor brought over a coon today, I turned it loose just to transplant it, bandit saw it and treed it anyways. 5 days shy of being 4 months old.

Travis this is very impressive. I believe at the time of this picture this pup is just 4 months old! Travis all he needs now is to get a little older so he can keep up and a little hunting! The hard part is over as he has been what I call gamey since he was born. From what I hear there are early starting pups from all the crosses you have made on Turkey. Congrats my friend.

Don't worry bud, he makes my Walker look even worse.

I have been gone for a week due to work and hadn't had a chance to hunt. I pulled Brown out of the kennel tonight and made one drop. Here is what he came up with. It is a rotten tree, but had a big coon in the top. This guy is still a baby but he acts real mature. Cool, calm and collected. Don't hear a word from him in the kennel. When you unsnap him, it's a different dog.

To say I am happy with Brown would be an epic understatement. He is the product of good, well planned breeding and a little bit of training. I will say this one last time and then I am done. If you have a female that goes back to Rabble Rouser in the pedigree, come and take a hunt with Turkey, or come hunt with Brown and see for yourself what those lines produce when put together. Turkey should be considered hard for a Rouser bred female if you want pups like this guy.

It's been real fun messing with him. An absolute joy to train and have around the house. I'm sure there are bad times ahead and he will hit a few walls, but it is a blast to take a young pup hunting and know that he can/will tree coons alone.

We are going to try again tonight. Baby steps...lol.

Myself, new redbone man Chris Siemens, Rob Farr and Russell Beck hunted last night. We made 6 trees, 4 coons seen and several hundred yards traveled. Everyone had a blast and we were lucky enough to see some great dog work too.

Turkey will be breeding Gr Nt Ch Salt River Kate in the next few days. This should be an exceptional cross. Kate is a high scoring female, she has scored over 1000 points on a few occasions.

I have hunted against her several times. You have to be on your game if you are going to be her. She is out of my Nt Ch Zack which is out of Timber Knockin Tex and her mama is out of Outlaw Jack and Pony Creek Sadie which is out of Sandy Creek Jake. So, lets see: Fireball, Outlaw, Sandy Creek just to name a few lines stirring in with everything Turkey is bringing to the table.

This is a pic of her winning High Scoring Redbone at Zone 7 Event with 1125 in 2014. This year she came up 25 points short of being the High Scoring Redbone.

Nice ad on Turkey Travis, this bad news brown pup off turkey is very impressive, and Bandit is a carbon copy.. Looks to me turkey is throwing very early starters, which is what most people want.
