I had a couple visitors for up from Arkansas to pick up a pup and go for a hunt. Bret Hendricks and Billy Stark it was great meeting and hunting with you guys. We had a decent hunt but a great time. You guys are welcome to come back and hunt anytime.

This is Chris Snyders 8 month old pup out of turkey x death row abby. At 8 months he has already treed several coons 100% alone, he has the looks, mouth, independence and pedigree to be the total package. Nice work Chris.

I have hunted with Turkey and Abby's sire, Griz and her dam, Sid. Actually, I have hunted with every dog in his pedigree except Abby and Roxy and they are all first class dogs. That has to be some pup.

Travis, that dogs ears are as big as his head. Skeeter will be a nice one for sure.

I'm lookin forward to this fall when we get a picture of Turkey, Brown, Bandit and Skeeter on a tree. A stud and three pups off three different females all under a year of age treed with dad.

Only problem might be getting them to tree together instead of split.

Crooked River Red Bandit on a release coon today. It was terribly hot and I usually don't train a pup in the heat but I kept things short and sweet.

Turkey will be crossed on an outstanding female later this week. She is a loud, extremely independent coondog, she treed her first coon alone at 6 months and never looked back.

Bandit treeing a release coon. Turkey crossed on rouser bred females has been proven to produce natural treedogs that start early.

Travis, I'm using my wife's phone, mine is fried, got submerged in the swamp, cowboy got hit by a train last night, right in front of me , he and queen were burning a track up.. Harmon said 122 from the dogs, that we're back and fourth across the tracks when I heard the train coming. I was already up to my shoulders trying to get to them.. As I got to the tracks I had my hand 6 inches from grabbing him and the engineer laid on the horn that freaked cowboy out.. He now is back in the middle of the tracks and running , he got back on the outside of the rail, and continued running, and got clipped and rolled down the rocks , He is alive for now, I can't win for losing .. I'll be in touch as soon as I can,

I took Bad News out for a hunt the other night in between rainstorms. He dropped into the outside edge of a cornfield, ran it till he got to the timber, dropped off into the woods about 300yds and slammed up treed like he's been doing it like that his whole life. I hate hunting in the summer time but Brown makes me want to.

These Turkey pups are special. They are easy to work with and start quick.

I only have a three gen pedigree on Amber and I am not familiar with the breeding on Jenny's side as Amber is the first redbone I've had for 30 years. I'd say Mark Zepp would be the one to ask.
I will say this about Jenny after raising Amber I went back a got a female pup out of her next litter by the Big Jim dog, that is almost a carbon copy of Amber, same loud mouth and independent hunting style, so I think Jenny does her share. I know Jenny has helped to make me a very happy coonhunter and got me back to redbones after giving up on them many years ago, Jim.
